# Ether Jack

### How to Play:

Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, EtherJack offers a straightforward and engaging way to enjoy Blackjack right from your browser. Here’s a simple guide on how to play:

* **Step 1: Place Your Bet**

 First things first, you need to place your bet. After logging into the game, you’ll find an interface with your current balance displayed. Choose how much you’d like to bet by clicking on the stake button and entering the amount of tokens you want to bet in the modal that pops up. Once you’re happy with your bet amount, click the “Stake” button in the modal to confirm your wager.
* **Step 2: Dealing the Cards**

 Once your bet is placed, click the “Deal” button to start the game. You will be dealt two cards, both face-up. The dealer will also receive cards. This is the beginning of your hand.
* **Step 3: Decide Your Move**

 Now, look at your cards and their total value. The goal is to get as close to 21 as possible, without going over. Here are the actions you can take at this point:

 ***- Hit:*** If you think you can get closer to 21 without busting (going over 21), click the “Hit” button. You’ll be given another card. You can continue to hit until you either stand (stop taking cards) or bust.

 ***- Stand:*** If you are satisfied with the total value of your cards, click “Stand.” This indicates that you do not want any more cards. It’s now time to see what the dealer has.
* **Step 4: Dealer’s Turn**

 After you stand, the dealer will reveal their hidden cards and may take additional cards according to the rules of Blackjack. The dealer typically must hit on 16 or less and stand on 17 or more.
* **Step 5: The Outcome**

 Once the dealer stands or busts, the outcomes are compared:

 \- If your card total is closer to 21 than the dealer’s, or if the dealer busts and you do not, you win!

 \- If both you and the dealer have the same card total, the game ends in a push, and your bet is returned.

 \- If your total exceeds 21, or the dealer’s total is closer to 21 than yours, you lose your bet.
